iPhone Photos

I think I am the last person to get an iPhone.   I do love it, especially the camera.  I find myself snapping pictures constantly of Banks.  Given that, here are a few cute ones from the past 2 months.

My Daddy got Banks this "glow stick" when they were at Lowes one day.  He loves it and it stays in the car.

Banks loves to watch cartoons at my parents house and this is how he usually can be found.

Nutella!

Funny this day, while Bryan was getting dressed, I was upstairs getting Banks dressed.  We came down to find they had dressed alike!

Banks after bath.  I think it is so funny that my little boy who can remind me of the little boy from "Home Alone"......

....now lives in a house sort of like the Home Alone house.

He likes to "my drive"

and has discovered how to play puzzle games on the iPad, which he thinks is his iPad.

He sometimes wears his bicycle helmet around the house all morning.

He likes the slaw at Jubilee Seafood.

We made a chocolate pie one afternoon.   It usually has to chill about 8 hours to be good, but I was dying to get into it, so we had a piece after dinner.  I told him we were going to split a piece.  Well, he wanted his own so I put it in a bowl since it was still a little warm.

When it was gone, this is how he reacted.  Oh, how he loves sweets.

We love our Tickle Monster book!

The Easter Bunny brought Banks a tool box so he could be like his Daddy.

Thank goodness he does this in the afternoon!

We got another haircut.

Today, Banks visited the allergist in Birmingham and we got re-tested for egg and shellfish and thank goodness, we are CLEAR!!!

No more egg or shellfish allergy!!!!!

Banks and I celebrated with a trip to Mt. Brook creamery.

Little Gardner, Big Helper

So here is the story of my life these days.

Me:  "I am so tired and my back hurts.  I am going to lay down."

And the next thing you know, we are out front planting flowers.

I am in such a state of "getting things done" before the baby, I am struggling with my desire/need to rest and my obsession to have things perfect.

So thank goodness I have 2 sweet boys to help me out.

This one in particular just melts my heart.

But we could not do any of it without this one!

The pots will actually fill out and look great.  The sweet potato vine will be running all down the sides and the middle plant (can't remember the name) will grow tall.

The house.  I have yet to get a great picture of the outside.  It is coming I promise!  The sun was setting here and you can see the Sir was still busy digging in the dirt.

SuperBanks

I must admit, Banks has no idea who SuperMan is or any other super hero for that matter.   However, when he got invited to Miller's super hero birthday party, he had to dress the part.

Daniel and Jack are full of costumes but as luck would have it, when we were in Tallassee the other day, they were wearing their Batman and Robin costumes and heading out the door for a party, so we could not borrow them.  They would have actually not fit anyways.

Tara pulled through!  She had this size 2 SuperMan costume and it was perfect.  At first, Banks was not interested or excited about it but he came around when he realized he could wear his new red crocs with it and there was a party to attend.

As usual, he loved the cupcakes.

Daniel's Birthday Party

Goodness, I am SO far behind on blogging.  Honestly, moving to our new house at 35 weeks pregnant really has thrown me for a loop.  Man, I am tired.

However, I did want to share some pictures from Daniel's 4th Birthday.   Daniel loves Mail, so Leigh Anne did a mail/postmaster party and it was super cute.

Sweet Bronner came in costume, as a UPS man!

Warren, Bronner, and Daniel

Daniel loved the attention and when we sang to him,

Banks loved the food!   The popcorn machine was also a HUGE hit with the kiddos.

Banks did a great job with the real baseball bat on his 3 swings at the pinata.

I loved watching Banks fly through the air when his stick skinny cousins bounced.  Imagine how high he would go with bigger kids in there!

Sweet Cousins!

I am ALMOST finished with Reid's nursery.  I promise to post pics next week!

Happy Birthday Banks Henderson and Daniel!

Last weekend, we went to "the other Banks" party.  Our new friends in Montgomery, the Hendersons, have a Banks too and oh we love Banks Henderson!  They are the sweetest family and I am so thankful to have met them.

Jennifer, Banks' mom, is as talented as Leigh Anne at giving parties.  Banks had a western round up party and she did a fabulous job.  I was very busy chasing my Banks around but did manage to snap a few pics.

The Birthday Boy

My Banks loved playing with big Banks little brother, Blevins.  Don't they look cute in their coats?  It was super cold!

I guess this explains why Jennifer and I get along so well too.  She has 2 pugs!  And in true "kid" form, they were dying to come in and be a part of the party.  Poor puggies....they were cold and shivering.  It brought back memories of my sweet Basil, who was ALWAYS cold!

Meghan (who will be my neighbor in one week) and Mary Clark were there too!

...and our sweet friend Hale Borden, who was multi-talented at eating a s'more pop and riding the pony at the same time.

On Sunday, we went to Tallassee for lunch and had a birthday cake for Daniel.  He turned 4 on Monday and we had a little cake for him.  He was so excited!

He was confused a bit though.  He is having a big party tomorrow and the theme is Mail and the U.S. Postal Service (a mild obsession of his theses days).  He is so excited about his party and when he saw his cake he said "I didn't think I was having a flower birthday party."  So cute!  We explained that it was just a cake for us and not his real party.

Someone loves the attention!

Stay tuned for pics from the Postal Service party and pics of our new house!  We are busy getting ready to move in.  Yay!
