Laura Katherine and Stephen's Wedding weekend

We kicked off Laura Katherine and Stephen's wedding weekend with a rehearsal and party afterwards.  My boys were looking especially handsome on Friday night.  Reid is wearing his first belt an he is rocking it of course.

We were all over the moon to get to spend so much time with our favorite 16 month old, Sydney and his Mom and Dad.

My "every crow thinks theirs is the blackest" tendencies were in FULL effect over this.

These boys are so handsome I seriously can't handle it.

Precious was worn slap out from the zoo and swimming in the hotel pool.  We could hardly wake him up to go to the after rehearsal party.

Weejie with his two girls.

On Saturday morning, a few of the ladies in the family hosted a luncheon for Laura Katherine and her friends and family.   We had it at a restaurant in Jackson, CAET, and their private room was beyond lovley and perfect for this event.

Aunt Gitti gave Laura Katherine and sewing kit and a letter written to Gitti in 1987 by her grandmother in which she is telling her about "Maxine's beautiful baby", who of course is Laura Katherine.  It was so touching and sweet.

The boys went to the Mississippi Children's museum while we were at the luncheon but I don't think we have many pictures.

Next the wedding!!  Again the cuteness factor of my boys was through the roof.  Banks was sporting his first sports coat and I can not tell you how dapper he looked.

It was Reid's birthday so Laura Katherine was SO sweet and got Reid a cake and had the band sing Happy Birthday to him.

I didn't take as many pictures at the wedding because Laura Katherine's amazing photographer took so many photos and she is giving her all of the digital images.  I will post more of those when we receive them.

Jackson Zoo

We got to Jackson on Thursday night so we could have Friday to relax and have fun with the kids before Laura Katherine's wedding festivities started.  The kids expressed interest in going to the Jackson Zoo and it was fun to explore a new zoo.

They alligator exhibit was one of our favorites.

This ostrich was especially friendly today!

They have a really cool dinosaur exhibit right now and they look real and actually move around.  It was neat.

The merry go round is always a hit with my two as well.

Easter Sunday

Here are some pictures from Easter Sunday.  It began with church, followed by lunch at our house, and then an impromptu trip to the lake for some SeaDoo riding with Sissy and Daniel.

This is Elle.  One of my sweet violin students.  She is just a precious child and she is doing so well.

Trick Candles!!!!  (and a left over birthday cake from Friday's party)

Okay, here are some funny outtakes.  REID is usually my main source of grief but he is such a cutie, I usually let it slide.

Ya know, when a lady is handing out rice crispy treat birds nests before church and the picture taking attempts come to a pause.
