Memorial Day Weekend

We just got back from Lake Martin and had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend with our family and friends.    Laura Katherine, Bryan's sister, and her boyfriend Stephen joined us for the weekend and it was great to visit with them and get to know Stephen better.

We went to Chuck's for lunch and boy was it crowded.  We met Tara, Robby and her boys, as well as Whitney and Steven, Peggy and Owen there.

They came over to the cabin later that night for fun and dinner.

Reid and Owen played great together.  I did not take many pics, as I was busy watching kids and preparing drinks and dinner.  But we had a blast!

Monday afternoon was VERY rainy, so we stayed inside and put together a 200 piece puzzle and the kids rested.

Georgia Anne spent the night and I found them like this on the couch, watching Chip and Dale on the iPad.  So sweet.

They got so hyper and so we had to have a little dance party.

Tuesday,  my sister, Jack, and Daniel came up and we swam and played.

Beach Trip

We just got home from Rosemary Beach.  It was a relaxing vacation trip.

The first night we dined at Cafe 30A and my kids were in rare form.  Reid didn't even get the F like he deserved.  Bryan said he actually received a ZERO.

Oh, but look at that face people.  It is so irresistibly cute.

Afterwards, we went to one of the lawns at Rosemary and let the boys play.

The next day, we hit the beach and it was a success.

We rallied after our exhausting morning and rested the afternoon,  We went to dinner at Paradis and requested an outside table.  That was much much better for these two little boys.

The next day we went on a long morning bike ride and hit the playground at Rosemary.

Wouldn't you know it, my kids would rather be at the pool.

Dinner at Edwards.

Typical Reid.

We really do in fact enjoy a good ole cheesy game of mini golf.

This little "backpack" leash did come in handy for those tricky steep hills that end in some weird dyed blue foamy water containing plastic alligators.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED going to this maze with First Baptist Youth group as a child.

 The Donut Hole

Thank you Ricky and Brooke for letting us stay at your house!  We are exhausted but it was fun and thank goodness, we only tackle the beach once a year.
