Valentines Day

Here are a few pics from our Valentines Day.

I made this yummy strawberry cake from scratch.  It was super easy, using a round cake pan and a square pan to make the heart.

Always trying to get a photo of them together....

Banks does not go to school on Friday, but his teachers invited him to the party and it was adorable, wild, crazy, and fun.

We cooked dinner and ate together as a family.  It was a great Valentines Day for sure.

Cousin Cookie Decorating

Reid was looking and looking for our visitors to arrive this afternoon.

First, Nana and Papa arrived.  Yay!  Papa is determined to have Reid walking before his birthday. (me, not so much)

Then, Jack, Daniel, and Leigh Leigh arrived and we put these little chefs to work.

Reid was just taking it all in for next year.

I do love to put together a cookie decorating party.  Guilty, as charged.

The Butlers got the flu over Christmas so we were not able to do our cookie decorating.  Needless to say, we made up for it this afternoon decorating Valentine's cookies.

Who cares if the chef hats said Merry Christmas?  They were adorable anyway.

Banks did more licking at first.

He was so proud.  He kept saying "I'm doing it!  I'm doing it!"

Daniel was very excited too.

Leigh Leigh and Reid

I think they turned out cute and we had a blast.  A nice bonus was the weather.  Finally a day in the 60's and they boys played outside for over an hour.  That is a record for the past month.

iPhone Pics and Other Stuff

These 2 little sweeties have been keeping me busy.

I now have 2 drivers at Publix.

Praise the Lord!  Banks will now listen to his head phones in the car.  It could not have come any sooner because the Thomas the Train narrator completely drives me nuts.   He even wears them when he sleeps!

Reid's hair just stands straight up.

We went to the circus.

I went to Chattanooga with Lauren and Cali to visit Farless.

We have a little boy who loves this spiderman pajama shirt..and from the looks of his mouth, some form of chocolate.

Oh, but he cleans up real nice.

Such sweet brothers.

This pretty much sums up Reid's face.  He has the sweetest and biggest smile.  And that hair...there it is again.  Oh, such a little hunk of love.

9 Months Old

Reid is 9 months old and very active.   It makes taking my perfectly posed pictures with the stickers a bit hard.  Oh well, I think they are funny.

Here are his stats:

Weight:  18 pounds, 15 ounces  (25%)

Height:  29 3/4 inches  (90%

He is crawling, crawling, and crawling.  Most of his time is spent watching big brother and trying to play with him and I must say, it is really sweet.  I think it is safe to say he is going to have straight hair because it stands off his head (like mine did as a baby).  He is enjoying some table food and that has been fun.  There is not much else to report except he is a doll.

Construction Site!

On our way home from school yesterday, we passed a construction site.  The excavator was hard at work digging dirt and Banks yells from the backseat, "Mommy, pull over."  So, you know it....I pulled over.
