Lake Fun with the Merrills

Last weekend, we had a great quick visit with Lauren, Cody, and Lydia on the boat.  It was so good to see them and I love how our kids love playing together.  

We thought this double decker pontoon boat was a hoot!

We rode around and just had a picnic dinner on the boat.  It was just the perfect night and the weather was great.  Sorry the pics are not great. 

Buckley's 1st Birthday

Buckley turned 1 on September 7 and we had to celebrate of course.  

I made him a real cake and we had intentions of eating it with him but he decided to lick the entire thing and so we just let him have it.  (not the entire thing, I promise!)

Such a handsome...and YOUNG....face.  

He is such a glue on.  He wants to be in my lap at all times...which is cute, but after a while it gets a little annoying.  

We sure did miss Casey, who did love a birthday party, but I am sure she is having a great time with Basil at Rainbow Bridge.   They probably eat cake every day now.  

And this little guy had a blast!  I am not quite sure where the lollipop came from....but we will just go with it.
