Last weekend, Kenzie, Tara, and I went to Manhattan for the weekend and we had a blast! It was great to spend time with them since their little boys keep them quite busy. We had a lot of laughs, ate a ton of great food, spent too much money, and saw Jersey Boys, one of my personal favorites.

We stayed at The Waldorf Astoria and it was perfect. I love that it is old and historic, yet is plush and modern at the same time. They brought us some champagne when we checked in that said "Hello Mr. Hendrix, we hope you enjoy your Birthday Weekend". Hilarious because Robby was not with us and it is no where close to anyones birthday! Needless to say, Kenzie and Tara enjoyed the champagne.

We went by the "Today" show and just missed Richard Simmons. As many of you know, he is one of my favorite people and I have dressed up as him for Halloween about 4 or 5 times. We were about 10 minutes late. We did see Kathy Lee and she was beautiful in person.

The beautiful Plaza.
We went to brunch on Saturday at the Boathouse in Central Park and it was just a great day to be in the park. The food was great and we walked around the park afterwards to had some celeb sightings including Al Roker (who was running and about to run out of steam).

On Sunday, we went on a tour of Radio City Music Hall. They were taking down all of the set from the NFL draft but it was still great to see how spectacular that facility is. We had a "real life" Rockette come and talk to us. Hard to believe they all must be between 5'7" and 5'10". They don't take any short dancers!
