2 Months Old

Look at this handsome little guy.  I mean, seriously, how cute is he?

We go to the doctor on Monday, so I will post his stats then but I just could not wait to post his picture. We hit the jackpot with this one I tell ya.  Sleeps, eats, and looks around just being an angel.   Today, while Banks was at school, Reid and I went all around town running errands and shopping.  He never woke up or made a peep.  I had to take the picture of him in his crib since he spends so much time in it. I think I would too if I had that soft bedding on my bed!!

Anyways, more to come later.

Adventures in Picture Taking

I decided to take some pictures of the boys today since I have not taken any in a week or so.

Somebody had to be a part of the action too.

We went outside....which was interesting.

I just can't get a photo of the two boys both looking at the camera.

It is impossible.

Banks is so sweet to Reid.  He is constantly giving him hugs and kisses.

Bryan came home super excited because MSU had just won their baseball game.

Day 5

This morning was a typical morning at home.

Morning Walk.  Check.

Playing outside with tools "fixing" stuff.  Check

Watering the hydrangeas so they stay pretty.  Check.

Giving our cars and trucks a wash. Check.

Corn Dog for lunch, an episode of Bubble Guppies, and Mommy doing her best to get ready while keeping up with Banks rounds off the morning.

We decided to go to the Fire Station so Banks can see a real Fire Truck.  He LOVES fire trucks.
He was a little timid at first, but slowly warmed up.  The fireman was so nice and encouraged him to touch and feel the trucks, gear, and explore.

He even got to "DRIVE" the firetruck!

After the Fire Station, we went to Dillard's.  Daddy picked out a new shirt and Banks got some new shoes.

Gotta look just like Daddy (as if he doesn't already enough!)

Aren't my new shoes the best?

Next stop, Nancy's Italian Ice.  It is this super fine shaved ice.  They offer lots of different flavors.  I got strawberry-lemon and it was yummy.

Bryan got chocolate ice cream layered with chocolate Italian ice.  a.k.a.  "The Fancy Nancy"

The Sir got a good ole fashioned ice cream cone.

Yes, I am still here, just doing what they do.  I went to the fire station, and to Dillard's, and to ice cream place.....and did not make a peep.   I sleep, drink my bottle, and just look around.  People make a complete fuss over me because I am so cute and sweet.  My big brother was pushing my stroller around Dillard's SO fast that some of the men working in there were cracking up laughing.  My Mommy was chasing Banks and asking him to slow down.  It was super FUN!  I can't wait to be big enough to do all of the fun stuff too!  Thank you Tara for the outfit!

Day 4

We are getting less eventful as the week goes by.  We went on a walk.  These babies love the new stroller.  I think we have already logged about 50 miles on it in just 2 weeks.

We had a lazy day at home in the morning, followed by long naps and then an afternoon trip to the pool.

We meet up every Thursday with the Henderson family to let the boys play.  Banks and Blevins love playing with the cars in the shallow end.

Yes, as posted earlier, this is the best baby.  Nothing changes here.  Just being precious and perfect.

Banks LOVES the hamburgers at Wynlakes. (so do Mommy and Daddy!)

We were excited to see Miss Allison (our sitter) and her Mom.
Banks was too busy to get out of the water but all the way home, he kept asking "where Allison go? Where Allison go?"

We headed home around 7:30 p.m. and crashed!

Day 3

Day 3 got off to a crazy start!  Terminex was at our door at 7 to spray inside.  Followed by the tree cutting service that Bryan hired.  They were here all day, chopping down 9 trees in all.  We left Casey inside.

We got on the road at 8:45 but had to stop by the local Chrystler Dealership to pick up my car from being serviced yesterday.  When we got there, they had taken out the carseats! ugh!

We get on the road and the securtiy system calls and the alarm at the house has gone off.  (Casey must have been freaking out over the chain saws and jumped on a piece of furniture...because she does not set if off if she is walking or laying down).

We take care of that and then we get on the road.

We see a horrible wreck on I-85 which had happened about 1-2 minutes before.

Needless to say, we finally made it to the lake.

We met a realtor to look at a few cabins.  No, we are not buying anything now...just thinking about it for a few years down the road.  Bryan does not know as much about Lake Martin as I do so it was good for him to see some properties and get a feel for the lake.

We met my parents at Kowliga Restaurant.

`

Banks loved loved loved the turtles and fish.

"Oh, I see fish!!! down deah...in da wa-wa"

Good thing Nana does not eat the top of her bun...the turtles certainly loved it.

We got back to Montgomery and rested for a bit while the boys slept.

I went to work out and we went to bed!

Not as eventful as yesterday, but we are getting out of the house which is a huge improvement from my life of the past several weeks.

Day 2

Day 2 of Daddy's week off started off at the Wynlakes Pool (a.k.a one of this guy's favorite spots).

Please excuse the poor photo quality.  We only took our phones and they are not as quick as the Rebel.

This is THE MOST precious baby in America.  Did I mention that this precious slept last night from 10:00-6:00 a.m. in his crib?   Truly, a perfect baby in my opinion.

Tonight we took Banks to his first baseball game.  He LOVES baseball and can really hit the ball well. Uncle "Mike" Johnston brought this hat to us this weekend and Banks wore it most of the game, until he was sweating so bad (90 degrees) and he finally took it off.

He was so proud of his ticket.

Can we get a shot of him looking at the camera?  I don't think so.

...oh maybe...but it cut me off...  (ticket still in hand).

Ok, well Daddy is looking good and at the camera....Banks...not so much...but he still has his ticket!

Perfect shot of the back of his head.

He ate the hot dog, of course.

I was a sucker and bought this adorable mini bat for him.  He loved it SO much he put the ticket down and held on to the bat the remainder of the game.

Another fun day!  Stay tuned for tomorrow!
