Lately

This post is going to be sort of all over the place.

We have been doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that...and a whole lot of trying to sell our house!

Activity has picked up tremendously this weekend and just in time....for the big move approaches and the azaleas are in bloom.

We hung out with Cody, Lauren, and Lydia

and the Gettys. Here is Mary being a little precious angel.

Mary and John are trying to turn Banks into an Auburn fan....and they were pretty convincing I must say!

Casey got her annual haircut.

Please, Please, do not judge. She is very very old and needs to keep cool.

We have been enjoying these beautiful bushes in our neighborhood. I think they are called a Snowball Bush.

Banks needs another haircut.

Okay, so let's go back a bit. For the first 4 months of his life, Banks spent about 16 hours a day wrapped up like an egg roll....and let me add that he was very happy that way.

So, the other night, Banks pulled one of the swaddle blankets out of his drawer and I thought it would be fun to try to swaddle him. It was NOT as easy as it once was!

He thought it was SO funny when he busted free.

Banks' favorite thing right now is a ball. He literally walks around the house all day saying "ball".

We had a blast at our friend, Lendon Baugh's 3rd birthday party.

And finally, Banks had his first taste of Nutella.

Brace Yourself.....

.....for what you are about to see is almost too cute to handle.

These are new pics that Mary Catherine took last Saturday.

Banks is almost 16 months here.

He is pretty stinkin' cute, but moreover, she is a very talented photographer.

Enjoy!

Weekend in Tallassee

Banks and I went to Tallassee this weekend since Bryan was in Selma working Saturday and Sunday. We had a very sad week as a family, so this weekend was all about spending time together and enjoying each other. It is pretty easy to have fun with these 4 little "urchins".

We went to the park.

We got out Daniel's new Slip-n-Slide.

Banks was not really interested in the water, but was very interested in the 3 fudge stripe cookies he ate.

Rich, Rebekah, and Tripp were in town visiting her sister Hannah and Ben, so we asked them to come over and play.

Baby Helen was too cute and sweet in her bathing suit. She had just been crowned "Baby Miss Tallassee" earlier that morning.

Here is our best attempt at a group shot.

On Sunday morning, Georgie was an acolyte at Church.

Group shot: Unsuccessful!

The Butler Trio

Banks and I matched.

Mama and Daddy.

We had fun and now it is time to REST!
