Happy Halloween!

 Happy Halloween!

We kicked the week off on Sunday at Pumpkinfest at our Church.

I did a trunk at "trunk or treat" this year.  I went with a Pirate/Treasure Chest theme and it came together pretty well.  This is after the festivities.  Unfortunately, you don't get the FULL effect of all of the GOLD that was overflowing from the treasure chest.

On Halloween, we went to a birthday party followed by trick or treating with some other friends.  As you can see, it was just not in the cards for me to get a photo of our pirate and our puppy.

Banks loved the bobbing for apples!

Reid's face just cracks me up in this pic!!!  Such a big boy and an angel too.

I had to include this pic of our great buds, Banks and Blevins.  Jennifer MADE these adorable scuba diving costumes.  They had tanks on their backs too!

Harvest Festival

We went to the Harvest Festival at the Cloverdale Campus of our Church today and it was a BLAST!
Banks tried so many new activities and he just was on cloud 9 the entire time.

Look how big he is getting.  He climbs up by himself now and goes down over and over and over and over....

He rode a pony for the first time.

The firetruck took a backseat to all of the other cool attractions.

Ok, now on to the MAIN event.  The trampoline.

Once he warmed up, they did the "slingshot" on Banks.  He loved it!

As usual, Reid was along for the ride and being perfect.  He has started "twirling" his toes constantly and it is the cutest thing ever.

After the festival, we headed to see the puppies.

For those of you who do not know, a beautiful Golden in our neighborhood, Fluffy, had puppies 4 weeks ago and one of these angels is going to be joining our family in about 2 weeks.

I can seriously not tell you how precious they are.

Fluffy's owners have 2 children and they have "named" the puppies.  There are 6 puppies and this little lady was the last one we picked up.  I asked her what her name is and they said "Maxine".  So sweet.

Once we get him/her the blog will be taken over with pics for a while, but I will make sure not to completely drop the ball on pictures of the boys.  Ha!

Reid's First Cereal

Reid got in the high chair tonight for his "First" meal.

His look says it all "What in the world is going on here?"

"Umm..this is not so bad..."

"I like it so much, it makes me silly after I taste it."

"Oh, but here is comes again...I have to focus on what to do..."

"It's all gone...boo...now I will just have to chew on my fingers."

He really liked it!  He was very serious at first about it...then loosened up and gave us a little grin.

Sweet boy is GROWING UP!

MSU/LSU Game

We went over to Starkville yesterday for the LSU game.  Sweet Reid stayed home and the 3 of us braved the extreme HEAT and had a good time with family and a few friends.

Bryan and I finally got to meet Kyle, Laura Katherine's boyfriend.  We liked him a lot, even though he is an LSU fan.  :)

Jennifer Lynne, Stephen, and Lynlee came.

These little guys had the right idea.  The only way to stay cool was to play in the ice.

Cousin Scott is loving college life at State.  Stephen Lee said every time he talks to Scott, it makes him want to go back to being in college!

Uncle Ricky and Banks

Look who was there too!  Ashley and her family stopped by to say hello.

House Divided.  David and Celeste and Tripp and Perry Cate

This little guy was super excited to be there and to be going to the "football game".

Our best attempt at a group shot.

Banks loved ringing his cowbell!

It was a tough loss for State, but a great time anyways.
