4 Months Old

Our sweet Reid is 4 months old now.  I just can't believe how much he has grown in just 4 short months.  He is changing every day and is a pure joy.  

He had his check-up Thursday and here are his stats:

Weight:  14 pounds, 14 ounces  (50%)

Height:  26 inches   (90%)

Head circumference:  44 (90%)

He is still sleeping through the night but a big step this week was the dropping of the 10 p.m. feeding.  So now, he is going strong from 7 pm to 6:30 am.  He is trying to roll over and was 90% there this morning.  He "talks", coos, laughs and watches our every move.  He just could not be sweeter.    I love his "baby chicken feathers" on the top of his head and his chubby legs.  He is still in the hanging out stage and I know that will soon change so I am cherishing every minute.  

Girls Night!

Oh how much fun did we have last night?  More than words can say!  

Candace, Tara, Whitney, and I got together for a girls night out and it was so wonderful!!  We left behind 9 kids with sitters, Dads, and Grandparents to make it work and it did not disappoint. 

We stayed at Tara's beautiful condo on Lake Martin and you know what that means...another excuse to eat at the oh so yummy and trendy SpringHouse. 

We had an all out photo session (which I think they family by us got a kick out of) when we arrived, in case you can't tell.  

Wouldn't you know it.  I left my lipstick in the car.  WHAT??? This really never happens.  Anyways, when I asked Tara for some she gives me this and look at it..Flat as a board.  Good think she had a back up.  Whew!

The desserts were delicious too. 

We battled a monsoon too.  Nothing was going to stop us.  We stayed up until 1:30 a.m. talking.  Today we hung by the pool and later on headed back to our homes to kiss our sweet babies.  

All in all, it was a great 24 hours!

Reid's Baptism Weekend, Part 1

We had a great great great weekend with our family!  The Johnstons came in town from all over on Saturday and hang out and visit.  It was SO good to have everyone in our home.  

Big Dog was excited as usual to hold his babies.

Saturday night, we had a few drinks and appetizers at home before heading out to dinner.  It was a good time for us to visit and still play with the kids before our sitter arrived.

We made our way over to Central downtown for dinner.  They had a little hiccup with our reservation, so we decided to make the best of it at the bar area....for an hour!

Sunday after Church, we all came back to our house for a luncheon.

Mary Catherine took pictures at the church and of Reid in his gown, so I will post those later after she finishes editing them.   However, we got some good shots too.
