Gingerbread House

We tried to decorate a Gingerbread house the other night but no one told us how hard it is!

Our house kept falling apart so we just decided to decorate the sides of the house.

It was just as much fun.

This little guy had no problem that they house fell apart.  He was just so happy to decorate and get to spread the icing.

Reid's First Christmas

I just wanted to share these pictures of Reid in front of our tree.  He woke up from his nap SO happy and Banks was still asleep, so I decided to snap a few pics of this cutie.

I seriously could eat him up.

Puppy Training and a Refresher Course

I love to work with Buckley after the kids have gone to bed.  He is making progress....slowly.  He just has SO much energy and it's hard being 3 months old.

We use the training treat and they must be delicious because the old lady who refused to learn anything but sit and come is now participating in our "training" classes....only for the treats.

They are so cute sitting patiently while I make them wait for it.

This is the look of 100% perfection.  He is just so beautiful and is sitting patiently like a good boy.

Begging....

Getting anxious.....

So happy and wanted to do it again.

Buckley has mastered sit and and shake.  We are working on stay and are beyond working on "down". It is a very difficult one for the Golden Explosion to grasp as he is just so energetic.

Banks and Reid Meet Santa

We went and visited the Big Guy today at Wynlakes.  Baby brother did a little better than Big Brother but he did still manage to tell Santa that he wants a front end loader and Reid wants a new blankie.

Christmas Decorations

I have really enjoyed decorating our house for Christmas this year.  It is our first year in this house and I wanted to make it special.  We will probably live here a long time so I look forward to many many fun memories here.  Also, it is Reid's first Christmas and the first Christmas that Banks "gets it."

Foyer

Living Room

Dining Room

Kitchen

Den

Not decorated really, but I thought this corner of the den looked good.

I am loving these 2 candles right now.

The first is Illume "Balsam and Cedar"

and the second is Thymes "Frasier Fur"

They make the house smell SO warm and inviting.

In case you can't tell, I went with mostly live greenery this year.

My bow on my mailbox got STOLEN but it has since been replaced, thanks to my favorite neighbor, Meghan.

Thanksgiving Day

We did Thanksgiving Day in Tallassee with my parents and the Butlers.  It was pretty low key yet wild at the same time.  That is what 5 kids and 4 dogs will do!

Banks was loving getting to help Papa and Nana make the dressing.

Banks and Papa were dressed alike.  When Banks first saw my Dad, he said, as he was holding his sweater "Papa, look, I have one too!"  It was very cute.

Molly was just waiting for the right moment to get some food scraps.

We always to family photos on Thanksgiving day.  This year, we had to do them inside because it was SO cold outside.

Here are some our out takes.

And one of this little explosion.  I. am. in. love.
