Reid's Birthday

This angel face turned 2 on Wednesday, April 22.  

I seriously am completely flipped over this baby and yes, he is still my baby even though he is two. 

Reid loves to eat and so it was very fitting for me to bring out the cinamon rolls and biscuits for the big day.  

Big Brother was very excited to help Reid ride his new plasma car around the house. 

Later that morning, I took cupcakes to Reid's class at school for a little tiny tiny celebration. 

All afternoon, I prepared for the big Elmo party.  We just had my sister and her family and my parents over for dinner.  Big Dog and SuSu could not make it since it was so far away and we missed them.  

Someone was EXCITED!   He kept saying  "Birthday"  "Elmo" 

Nana brought him a Care Bear.  I loved them as a child and now Reid has his very own Tender Heart. 

 

Note:  See that icing that is missing.....GUILTY:  Buckley...licking it off earlier that day.  Cold BUSTED and boy did the shock collar come into play then.

Buckley was on the scene too.  Being bad and such.  

I did not get to take as many family photos as I had hoped becuase the kids were having so much fun and would not stop playing.  It was a special day celebrating our baby.   I didn't know how my heart could love anymore that it did when Banks was my only baby, but the love I have for Reid just overflows my body.   I can honestly say that on April 22, 2013 my heart doubled in size.

Banks at 4.5 years

Little Brother is pretty much going to hog the attention this week with the 2nd birthday and all......So, I wanted to post a couple of pics of my big boy. 

Banks is 4.5 years old.

He LOVES monster trucks (Gravedigger specifically), his sandbox, cars, trains, baseball, "loop da Loop" (as he calls it) hot wheel tracks, apples, riding his bike, macaroni and cheese, and his Little Critter books.

Sunday Funday

We snapped a few pics of the boys before church this morning since last week was sort of a bust and I was wearing a black dress because I had to (for the orchestra at church).  

Me:  "Reid, make the face."

And my precious does this face which literally makes me DIE!  He is so funny!

 After church, we headed up to Calera for the Thomas the Train ride.  My boys love Thomas so it was the perfect thing to do since we were hesitant to go to lake due to rain.

Reid was having nothing to do with Sir Topham Hat.

 

But Banks was all smiles. 

It was a fun afternoon.  Made even better by ICE CREAM at Durbin Farms on the way home!
