5 Months

5 months old already?  Goodness, time is flying and he is growing up right before my eyes.

Reid is rolling over and over and over.  He is trying to hold his bottle and is almost there.

He still is a good sleeper has started going to Mother's Day Out 3 mornings a week.

We moved up to a size 3 diaper and they sure do fit better.

Even though it is fall, Reid is still celebrating summer with all of Banks' hand me down 6 month summer bubbles.  Oh well, the weather is warm, right?

All in all, he is a delightful baby!

Dinner Time

3 Babies in the kitchen at dinner time.

One is just hanging out being an angel.

One is being silly and eating meatballs and grapes.

And one is being patient for the left overs.  (oh, and wanting me to think she is mistreated.)

Real Live Construction Site

These 2 best buds had a great morning at Nana Papa's watching some major digger and cement mixer action.

You can't tell by this photo, but they were SO glad to see each other.

While the guys were prepping, Banks and Daniel played with their trucks.

Sweet Reid was out there too, just watching and taking notes for the future.

Banks was excited to say the least.

The cement mixing truck was a little late, so we went in and had lunch.  A little while later, we hear it pull up and they ran to the window to check it out.

The action began rather quickly.

Daniel decided that he would get a better view from the back of the fence.  Pretty smart little boy.

Oh, and as an added bonus this truck came by too.

It was a good day to be 2 and 4.

I will post pics of the finished driveway.  It really is going to look terrific.

First Day of School

It's that most wonderful time of the year....when pre-school starts.

Ahhhh.....

Banks is in the older 2's with Miss Jamie this year.  He did great and went right in to start playing.

Oh, and Yes I did.

This little angel went to school too.

3-9 month room here he comes!

Chick Fil A Kick Off Game

My Mom, Dad, and I headed over to Atlanta Saturday to the Bama game.  It felt like 1985 again.  Me going to the game with my parents.  Something we did every Saturday in the fall when I was little.  We would get up EARLY and head to Tuscaloosa or if the game was at 11:00 we would stay in Hueytown with my Granny or Mamaw and head down to Tuscaloosa in the morning.  We always got a big bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken from the KFC in Alberta City and would park in the lot by the Gorgas House.   My Dad loved to go the his building where he attended classes and would drive us by his apartment.  My Mom loved to tell stories of her Freshman year living in Tutwiler and all of the roaches.

We also attended every game at Legion Field, including the Iron Bowl.  I think I missed every one of Tara's Birthday parties because it always fell on Iron Bowl Day.

Well, we have made some changes to say the least.  I drove for starters.  We did not get any fried chicken.  Leigh Anne stayed behind.  My parents move slower.  Bama played in Atlanta.  I had to pay a babysitter.  Oh, and we had a guy throw up next to us.  I don't quite remember that happening as a child.

It was a fun trip.  We missed you Leigh Anne!
