Lately

Lately, this little guy has been doing a lot of pulling up.

And getting lots of wet kisses from Buckley.

Our church had a baby recognition of all of the babies born in 2013 this morning.  Reid was all smiles.

We had a ton of rain on Saturday and Buckley was COVERED in mud and he had the audacity to ask to come in after he looked like this!

Rain, rain, and more rain means lots of train track building.

LOOK, after a few hours.... this happened.  MAGIC FUR!

Yes, he can be covered head to toe in mud and in a matter of hours, poof...all back to soft and clean and beautiful.

Buckley, how do you do that?

We also celebrated Georgia Anne's 10th birthday.  I made her this cake and we had a little cousin party for her at my parents house.

8 Months Old

Reid is 8 months old!  He is just the most adorable little guy.  He is CRAWLING all over and he is FAST!  He is clapping, which is so cute, and has 1 tooth on the bottom and another one is coming in.
He has hit a growth spurt and is demanding more food and more in his bottle.  We lowered the crib because he is beginning to pull up.  He has done it a few times but I decided to lower it before he gets really good at it and goes over the top of his crib.   He wears a size 3 diaper and 9-12 month clothes.
Banks and Reid are now taking a bath together, which they love.  I would say I have him on a very predictable schedule now, which is nice, especially when both boys are asleep in the afternoons.
We are blessed with this sweet spirited baby for sure.

Roll Tide Anyway!

My parents treated us to a trip to New Orleans to attend the Sugar Bowl.  We all know the game did not turn out in our favor, but we had a great time anyway cheering on the Tide.

Sissy was sad that her first bowl game experience was a loss, but enjoyed it and was cheering until the last second.

We all left pretty deflated, but Alabama has still won more games in the past 4 years than any other SEC team so we will have to just hope for a better year next year and have fun cheering....win or lose.

Johnston Family Beach Trip

The day after Christmas we went to Ricky and Brooke's house at Rosemary Beach to spend a few days with the Johnstons.  We all had plenty of room in their new house and the weather held off so we were able to hang out on the beach and even play a game of mini-golf.

Reid and Uncle Ricky

Cotton was just too sweet the entire trip.  He is such a snuggle bunny.

We all had fun at the first annual Johnston Family mini-golf tournament and guess who came in first place????? ME!!!  Totally shocking giving that I really didn't even try.

Lynlee was so proud when she hit her ball!

We went to this cool restaurant "Crust" where they make everything from scratch.  The owner's brother is the owner/chef at Bettola in Birmingham, so yummy restaurants run in this family.

Laura Katherine had everyone's attention when she was telling us about her new love interest! So cute.

Saturday morning, we went on a walk and played on the beach.  Banks was loving getting to ride his new scooter Santa brought him.
