I hope everyone had a terrific Easter Weekend and got to spend time with friends and family. We had a great weekend that started with an Easter Egg Hunt with our Sunday School class at
Overton Park.
Banks had lots of static in his hair from sliding down the slide so much.
At first he was not sure about what to do with the eggs. He would pick them up and just hold them. Finally, he figured out to put them in his basket.

After the Egg Hunt, we headed to Tallassee. As usual, we stopped at the Butlers. I brought them WAY too much candy. (sorry, Sis)
We went to a wonderful service on Saturday night called Easter Vigil at our church. Bryan had to stay behind to put Banks to bed. We have moved his bed time to the very late 7:00 p.m. and with the Easter Bunny coming, we had to make sure to get him in bed on time.
On Sunday morning, we came downstairs to see that the Easter Bunny had come!
He was checking everything out at first.
As expected, Banks really liked his grocery cart.
I asked his teachers what toy at school he seemed to like the most and besides the obvious ball and books (which we clearly know he loves), they told me the grocery cart and lawn mower. We already have a lawn mower, so naturally, I thought the grocery cart would be great.
We took some family pics after Church.
This was my best attempt at getting a picture of the four kiddos. It is really SO hard to get them to all look at the same time.

Below: Granny's Iris bulbs have started to bloom. They really were one of her favorite blooms in her yard in Hueytown and so my parents dug most of them up and brought them down to Tallassee when they moved her down here. They have done fairly well, but this one is a new bulb planted a few years ago.

Most of the guys opted for the linen suit this year! We had to get a group shot.
I just love Jack Butler's face. He really hates to have his picture made so you have to catch him when he is not expecting it. I was able to get this shot of his precious face and I think it captures his personality perfectly. He is so silly and serious at the same time, and such a deep thinker.
After we pigged out on lunch, I went outside an hid eggs for the kids to hunt.
Most of the eggs had treats in them, and this little Sir got his hands on a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. YUMMY!
