Williamsburg Trip

In July, Mama, Daddy, Banks, Daniel, and I went to Williamsburg for a few days.  Banks and Daniel are best friends and two peas in a pod, so this little getaway for the two of them was a dream come true.

We arrived and went to the visitor's center to get our plan together.  The boys loved the model of Williamsburg.  

Our hotel had complimentary bikes so the boys and I went on an early morning and HOT bike ride through the little paths and roads.  It was a blast. 

 

They loved exploring "Colonial life" and just hanging out together. 

Laying bricks was a fun activity and they even got to smash the clay with their feet.  YUK!

Yorktown, VA waterfront lunch was so pretty. 

They boys did an archeological dig--the perfect activity for them since they love to dig!

The last day, since it had been 98 degrees all week, I took them to Water Country USA and it was amazing.  Just SO much fun.  

Lake with Lauren and Cody

We had a super fun visit from Lauren and Cody and their girls last weekend.  The rain held off ALL day so we had a terrific Saturday. 

Lauren brought Headbanz and it was a hit with the littles. 

Cody brought his Nintendo Classic.  

Not pictured:  ME, playing it for hours upon end.  

Sunset boat cruises are our favorite. 

Memorial Day Weekend

We invited Bryan's cousin, Syd and his family to the lake over Memorial Day Weekend.  Syd and Allyson have three children, Sara Beth, Sophie, and Andrew and we all had a great weekend.  It's so nice when the adults and kids all get along so well! 

Andrew and Banks are 3 weeks apart and loved playing together.
