July 4th

We had plans to spend the 4th at the pool and then back at Wynlakes for fireworks, but rain literally rained on our day, so we made the best of it.

Banks painted this beautiful flag.  

We are always trying for a photo, but as you can see, it does not always go according to plan.

We went out to lunch, which was yummy, came home and let the boys nap.

We decided to cook burgers and have my parents over.

The boys changed their clothes and we tried another photo session.....

Much easier when Daddy is in control.

After dinner, Bryan made peaches foster.  He is addicted to peaches so this was perfect.  I am not sure if I got his flame on camera, but he did a great job.

You know it.  Casey was lurking the entire evening waiting on some food.  She hates rain so the lucky lady got to stay inside all day, 

All in all, it was a fun day.  No fireworks, but they rescheduled them for a later day :)

2 and 1/2 months

I am completely in love with this angel.

That is about all I have to say about that.  

Reid Goes to Vicksburg

We took the boys over to Vicksburg this weekend to see the Johnstons.

First stop was to visit cousin Lynlee.  She really captured my heart this weekend.  She is so pretty and just has the sweetest disposition.  

Banks was excited to give Big Dawg some of his artwork.

Banks and Lynlee loved the band playing at Walnut Hills.  They danced and danced all night long!

Saturday night, we all gathered at Jennifer Lynne and Stephen's house for dinner and lots of playing.

Fun Weekend, Long drive, but the kids did GREAT!!!

Reid's 2 Month Stats

Reid had his 2 month appointment yesterday and here are his stats.

Weight:    11 pounds 12 ounces

Height      23 and 3/4 inches

Just 2 ounces smaller than Banks at this age.

He is growing, growing, growing!

2 Months Old

Look at this handsome little guy.  I mean, seriously, how cute is he? 

We go to the doctor on Monday, so I will post his stats then but I just could not wait to post his picture. We hit the jackpot with this one I tell ya.  Sleeps, eats, and looks around just being an angel.   Today, while Banks was at school, Reid and I went all around town running errands and shopping.  He never woke up or made a peep.  I had to take the picture of him in his crib since he spends so much time in it. I think I would too if I had that soft bedding on my bed!!  

Anyways, more to come later.  

Adventures in Picture Taking

I decided to take some pictures of the boys today since I have not taken any in a week or so.

Somebody had to be a part of the action too. 

We went outside....which was interesting. 

I just can't get a photo of the two boys both looking at the camera.  

It is impossible.

Banks is so sweet to Reid.  He is constantly giving him hugs and kisses.  

Bryan came home super excited because MSU had just won their baseball game.
