Easter Sunday and Reid's 1st Birthday Party

We woke up this morning and the Easter Bunny had hopped on over to our house and left some goodies for Banks and Reid.

We went to the 11:00 service at First Methodist.  It was beautiful in every way.

Here are a few pics of the party.  Of course, I did a bunny theme since Reid's birthday is only 2 days away from Easter.

I am guilty of loving loving loving any type of birthday banner.

Before everyone arrived, Banks wanted to water the flowers with his new watering can.

Then it was time to sing to our sweet angel Reid.  He had a little cake just for him.

I made this bunny cake for everyone else.

After we opened presents, we went outside for yet another egg hunt.   Good for the kids, almost all of the eggs had quarters in them for their piggy banks.

Buckley was one the scene after a brief stint in his crate during the meal.

Pre-Easter Fun

This week has been FULL of Easter themed activities and throw in a 1st Birthday party planning and I am one tired Mom!

We dyed eggs one night.

Friday, I was one of the Moms who helped with the Easter party at Banks' school.

He has the sweetest little classmates.

The kids had to hunt eggs inside due to the rain, but it didn't bother them one bit.  They had a blast.

Saturday morning, we went to our church to the Easter carnival.

MC was "off duty" and had no camera in hand, so I snapped their pic.

My boys loved the Easter Bunny.  Banks told me she was a sweet bunny and had a pretty dress.  :)

Banks was all smiles when one of his best buds, Mary Clark arrived.

Reid was excited to see his bud Will Ashley at the festival.  Oh, I could die at the cuteness.

Bryan headed into work and I braved the Wynlakes egg hunt by myself.   Banks was loving every minute of it and was so proud of his findings!

Look how precious he is waiting in line of one of the bounce houses.  He looks so big.

Now, off to put the finishing touches on Reid's 1st Birthday celebration for tomorrow.  Pics to follow!

Happy Birthday Mama!

Friday was my Mom's birthday and we went to Wynlakes for lunch.  It was a rare occasion that the four of us get together by ourselves.

Happy Birthday Mama!

Super Bulldog Day

Bryan and Banks headed over to Starkville on Saturday for Super Bulldog Day.  They went to the spring football game for a little bit and then headed to the baseball game.

Uncle Ricky has a box, so Banks loved having some shade and some other kids to play with.

Bryan was pumped to see his college buds, Ricky, Matt, and Taylor.

Pines Egg Hunt

We hosted our Sunday School egg hunt at our house on Sunday and it was a great day!

We had about 55 adults and about 70 kids here.  Wow!  Big kids hunted in the front, little kids in the back.

We had our own Easter Bunny, who Reid loved!  Some of the children were scared, but they came around.

MC's little girl, Sarah Elizabeth was not so sure....

Every Crow Thinks Theirs is the Blackest

This little nugget is now 11 months old.

Just 2 more weeks until his birthday...sniff...sniff..

I think this picture of the two of them is so cute.  Weejie (Big Dog) made them both when Bryan was small.   We have had the rocking chair for a couple of years and it is Banks' favorite spot in the house.  When we were in Vicksburg last weekend, Bryan found the rocking chair in the attic and Reid has just loved it.   It is so cute...Banks will sit down and ask us to put Reid in the rocking chair right by him to watch cartoons.  Sweet Brothers!

The only good thing about the flood that has been going on over here for 2 days is seeing Banks get all dressed up in his raincoat, umbrella, and boots.

Well, and I threw this photo in just because I think he is such a cutie.
